Mr. Christopher Cain PGA , PGM Director
Christopher is a 1998 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University Professional Golf Management Program and also received his M.S. in Leisure Studies in 2004 from Penn State. He has worked at the Pocono Farms Country Club in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, The Tournament Players Club at The Canyons in Las Vegas, Nevada and served as Penn State's Head Golf Professional in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. While there, the facility was recognized as America's Top 100 Golf Shops and Merchandiser of the Year for the Philadelphia PGA Section.
His primary goals for the students lie within education, PGA certification, and development of the student's golfing abilities. In the near future, Chris sees the golf management program at UNLV to be regarded as the model operation by both The Professional Golfer's Association and all universities housing golf management programs. Mr. Chris Brown, PGM Internship Coordinator
Chris received his B.S. and M.Ed. in Recreation Administration from
the University of Georgia. He has worked in the golf industry as
an assistant professional
and retail consultant and has had a variety of experiences in administering
recreation programs to diverse populations.
Mr.Mike Davis PGA, Director of Golf Instruction
The PGM Director of Golf Instruction is a PGA Class A Professional
responsible for providing instruction to PGM students and organizing
professional staff
to assist in student instruction. He also serves as Chair of the PGM
Education Committee and works closely with the PGM Director to identify
members for the PGM Education Committee.
PGM Advisory Committee
PGM Advisory Committee consists of local PGA class A professionals who serve the PGM program in a mentoring role. The intent of the advisory committe is to establish open lines of communication between the PGM program and the local golf professionals of Las Vegas
