Curriculum

Course Requirements
The PGA curriculum consists of 124 credits in three primary areas:

Graduation Requirements

In addition to the Hotel College requirements, students are required to pass the PGA Playing Ability Test (PAT) and complete PGA checkpoint testing for Levels I, II, and III and fulfill a 16-month internship requirement.

Internship Requirements
The PGA internship is considered to be a full-time work experience that encompasses 40 hours per week at a recognized golf facility under the direction of a PGA professional. Successful completion of 16 months of internship experience is required of each student seeking a Bachelor of Science with a major in Recreation with a concentration in PGA Golf Management.
