Location: PGA Golf Club at Coyote Springs - The Chase
The Western Summit is a competition amongst five of the PGA Golf Management Programs in the Western United States. This two-day event is a 36 hole stroke play event using the best four scores out of each five person team. The UNLV PGA Golf Management Program won the event in 2006 and finished second in 2007. UNLV has its sights set on taking the trophy back home for 2009.

Come and help with the Play Golf America Day on Campus. This is a great opportunity to represent our program on Campus here at UNLV. We will be giving short lessons to fellow students in the field outside of Beam Hall. Golf attire would be required if you are giving lessons. Otherwise, stop by in between classes to say hello!

Sign up to play in the PGASA Tournament! It will be held at Las Vegas National Golf Club. Tee times will range from 1pm-2pm depending on size of the field. The cost is $25 dollars and 100% will go to the prize pool.

Location: Tuscany Golf Club
Sign up to play in the PGASA Tournament at Tuscany Golf Club. The cost is $25 per player and you must pay when you sign up. The format will be a 2-Person Best Ball Blind Draw. This means that you will play your own ball and at the end of the round you will be given a partner through a blind draw. The best ball score will count for each team. Director's Cup points will be awarded based on your individual rounds, not the team results. See you there!

Come join our Student Association to discuss the future of our program. Our guest speaker will be Mike Sizemore from Coyote Springs. He will be discussing the PGA's development of Coyote Springs and plans for the future. All attendees will be given a raffle ticket for a free entry into the Fall Major at Canyon Gate Country Club. Names will also be drawn for the golf trip in Pahrump. You must be present to enter. Doors will open and dinner will be served at 6pm. Meeting will start at 6:30pm.
Location: Student Recreation Center
Bring a change of clothes to the PGASA Meeting so you can participate in this year's 3 on 3 basketball tournament. It will be held in the Student Rec Center from 8pm - 11pm. Contact Charlie Greene to sign up your 3 person team. This event is always fun and everybody is encouraged to participate, no matter your skill level.

Sign up to play in the 2009 Fall Major at Spanish Trail Country Club. This is a great opportunity to play a very nice private club for an entry fee of only $25! There will be an award ceremony and dinner after the event so plan on staying after. This event is limited to the first 52 players to sign up and pay, so hurry in to sign up. The sign up sheet is in the PGM Office. Chris Cain put in a lot of hard work to get the Fall Major at this location, so be sure to thank him. Tee Times start at 12:30pm

Butch Harmon is taking time out of his extremely busy schedule to come and talk to our UNLV PGASA for the second time. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY! The meeting will take place at the Stan Fulton Building on the corner of Swenson and Flamingo. Time of the meeting is TBD. See you there!
